Why did you want to work here?
I sought out Financial Avenues while looking for a summer internship with a financial planning firm. I had a great conversation with Tracy and knew this firm would be a perfect fit. I’ve been grateful to stay with Financial Avenues throughout the school year because I love the work we do. The experience I have gained while working here has been amazing.
Financial Advice for younger self?
Consider if you really need something before making a purchase. It is very easy to get caught up in the lack of financial responsibilities when you are younger. This also means that it is easy to buy things you don’t necessarily need. If I could go back in time, I would advise myself to weigh the value of each purchase against the option of saving money for the future.
One thing on your bucket list?
One of the major items on my bucket list is to travel somewhere outside of the United States. While I have traveled to different parts of the US, I have never traveled outside of it. I would love to see other parts of the world and experience different cultures. If I had to pick one country, I would probably choose France. I took French in high school, so I would love to apply some of what I learned.
